Organisers of the Silverstone Classic have announced that AutoClassics.com has been appointed as the event’s official online marketplace partner – a move which will add another valuable new dimension to the world’s largest classic motor racing festival.

AutoClassics.com is the new global marketplace and information base for collector cars of all ages, from turn of the century pioneers to the latest supercars. The online platform provides free to list advertising as well as high-quality news, features and market analysis making it the perfect link-up to the Silverstone Classic – an annual event that attracts more than 100,000 car loving visitors.

Now, to bring AutoClassics to life, this summer’s three-day extravaganza will debut the ‘AutoClassics Marketplace’.

Appropriately, this will be located in the busy infield area adjoining the multitude of car club displays where more than 10,000 privately-owned classics are showcased over the weekend.

This new initiative will give independent classic car dealers and restorers the opportunity to exhibit their specialist skills and standout models from their showroom collections.

Ben Caspary, Partnership Director, said: ‘Autoclassics.com are delighted to be the marketplace partner at the Silverstone Classic this year. As Silverstone Classic draws in such a diversity of crowds and provides something for everyone within the classic car community, it meant it was a perfect partnership for us.

Event director Nick Wigley added: ‘The advent of the new AutoClassics Marketplace will provide our visitors not only with yet another appealing attraction but also a terrific chance for them to join the amazing classic car movement should they be so inspired… which it’s hard not to be at Silverstone Classic.’
