Don’t lose your home

Connection Support

A new approach to help prevent people losing their homes is being introduced in Aylesbury Vale.

Working on the basis that prevention is better than cure, local charity Connection Support are launching their free and confidential Resilience Service. A reduction in income caused by events such as illness, recent bereavement, family breakdown, drug or alcohol problems, or perhaps issues with a landlord, can drive people to crisis point and could result in them becoming homeless. Connection Support offer practical tools and advice to help prevent this and build resilience to stop it happening in the future.

Info: Anyone struggling to pay the rent or keep up to date with mortgage payments can contact Connection Support on (01296) 484322 or email resilience@connectionsupport.org.uk in complete confidence.

The service operates across Bucks and has been commissioned by a consortium of all four district councils in Bucks (Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern, South Bucks and Wycombe) and Buckinghamshire County Council.  It’s funded by the government’s Trailblazer programme.
