Free countryside activity group for people with dementia @ Horses Helping People | Leighton Buzzard | England | United Kingdom

We’re running a FREE weekly activity and support group for people with dementia (or Alzhiemer’s) and their family member / carer. It is fully funded by The Rothschild Foundation and run by an independent occupational therapist and the team at Horses Helping People.

We have various activities going on, and people can join in as much or as little as they want – we’re a relaxed bunch! Some of the activities we offer are:
– Spending time with and grooming the horses
– Feeding the chickens
– Walking and looking at the beautiful views
– Digging, planting and picking in the vegetable garden

Please contact Caroline with any questions. We hope to see you soon!
