Bard comes to Tring

Arguably Shakespeare’s greatest work Macbeth will be performed by a talented cast drawn from the Vale area.

The production is directed by professional actor and director Andy Faber and the cast includes semi-pro and community players brought together by Frayed Knot Theatre Company.

When Macbeth returns home victorious from war he is promised a golden future by supernatural forces. Macbeth murders the king to ensure his ambition comes true. But he soon learns that killing once, he must do so again and again while the dead return to haunt him.

Macbeth is an anatomy of fear and a bleak portrayal of what some will do to achieve their desires.

Frayed Knot Theatre Company has a long and distinguished history of staging high quality and exciting productions. Previous work includes: History Boys, Jerusalem, Journey’s End, Accrington Pals and 1984.
