Creative Writing Course: Intermediate Writing Skills @ Queens Park Arts Centre

Tutor: Nick Andrews

Writing skills – Creative, business and ‘life-writing’

This course runs over 4 consecutive Monday evenings.

Rediscover confidence in your writing skills with these gently guided sessions, led by Nick Andrews.

If you enjoyed writing at school and adult life has got in the way – rediscover your capacity to write creatively and effectively with Nick’s unique brand of writing tools and techniques – honed over 30 years of teaching English in England and overseas.

If you lack confidence in writing, the ‘writing tools’ approach will give you all the skills you need to be a great communicatror.

The class is a safe and supportive environment for you to rediscover, develop and polish your writing skills. At the end of the second set of sessions, you will be invited to a self-publishing workshop so you can be a published author before Christmas!

“Within two sessions I was writing like a published author, using these simple techniques. Now I can express myself in the way that I want to – and no longer be afraid to write it down”

This workshop is presented by Unbound Theatre, Queens Park’s in-house theatre company. Unbound produces a wide range of shows every year spanning professional-quality touring and site-specific pieces to community productions at the Limelight Theatre, as well as a variety of workshops in the fields of drama, creative writing and theatre studies.

Places must be booked in advance; classes are suitable for adults and students aged 16+.
