Everything's coming up roses for charity

Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity is holding another spectacular floral fundraiser this summer, with six beautiful local gardens to explore.

They are in Chinnor, Oving, Haddenham and Aylesbury, all to help raise cash and support the future of local hospice care.

After a successful Open Garden fundraising event last year which raised more than £5,000, the charity is encouraging people to visit their local Open Gardens once again from now until July.

Bill Richards, the charity’s Community fundraiser said: ‘Last year we had a great response to our Open Garden events.

‘We’d love for local communities to come together and support this year’s floral fundraiser.

‘Thank you to all the residents who are kindly opening up their gardens this summer to raise funds for the hospice.’

This year’s Open Gardens include:
– Oving Open Gardens – Sunday 9 June, 2pm-5pm
– Haddenham Open Gardens – Sunday 2 June, 2pm-6pm
