Family fun days
Summer favourite Fun Thursdays is bringing family entertainment to Aylesbury’s town centre during the holidays.
Starting on 22 July and continuing over six Thursdays throughout the summer holidays until Thursday 26 August, the event brings free and cheap entertainment and activities to children of all ages.
This Thursday (22 July), from 11am-3pm, PAW Patrol fans can look forward to meeting their heroes, a pirate is on the loose, and older children can test their skills with go-karting (see picture above of Market Square).
Gareth Williams, Buckinghamshire Council Cabinet Member for Planning and Regeneration, said: ‘It can be tricky keeping the kids entertained over the long summer break, so we’re delighted FunThursdays entertainment is coming back to Aylesbury for another year.’
Aylesbury has plenty of fun opportunities for youngsters every day. There are new attractions such as Flip Out, Funky Cinema, The Arcade and Stay and Play soft play, the ever-popular Aqua Vale Swimming Pool and Odeon Cinema and the library and Discover Bucks Museum are open.
Family-friendly cafés, restaurants and independent town shops are also an interesting choice for adults and children looking for enjoyment.
