Farmers' market with a hillbilly flavouring

Princes Risborough’s second Farmers Market of the year happens this Saturday – with some lively bluegrass music thrown in for good measure.

A mixture of fan-favourites and new vendors will pitch at the upcoming market on 22 June.

They will be selling a wide array of local goodies including traditional and flavoured breads, pies, loose-leaf tea, and artisan cheeses as well as savoury and sweet treats.

Hot takeaway food will also be available from Really Good Sausages Burgers and BBQ Bites and Funky Elephant.

A list of all of the vendors attending can be found at www.princesrisboroughtowncouncil.gov.uk

Little ones can be entertained by Basil and Crews Educational Mobile Farm. Basil the Shetland Pony and his crew of fluffy and furry friends will be at King George V Park from 9am-2pm, helping all ages gain confidence at their own speed, learning how to safely interact with the present farm animals.

Bluegrass band the Hemley Hillbillies, pictured, will be playing at the event from around 10am.

The free event runs between 9am-2pm.
