Follow the new North Chiltern Trail walking route

The Chiltern Society is next month (September) launching a new walking route in the north Chilterns called the North Chiltern Trail. https://www.chilternsociety.org.uk/about-NChltnTrail.php

This circular 42-mile route passes through some lovely countryside and nature reserves in central Bedfordshire and north Hertfordshire visiting  attractive villages, pubs and tea rooms en route. The Chiltern Society PhotoGroup have taken many beautiful pictures along this route to inspire you to visit the north Chilterns https://www.chilternphoto.org.uk/Special-Collections/North-Chiltern-Trail (photographs can be made available to you, but please call the office on 01494 771250 to seek permission).

To celebrate the launch it will be staging an outdoor activity festival with opportunities to walk the whole trail, plus map reading courses, cycle rides and horse riding.

The events programme is free, but places are limited and have to be booked in advance via the website, which also features full details and dates:  https://www.chilternsociety.org.uk/activ-events.php#20140621

If you would like hard copies of the leaflet or any further information please contact [email protected] or call 01494 771250.
