Chiltern Open Air Museum is a great day out for the whole family. Set in 45 acres of beautiful Chilterns countryside there is over 30 rescued and reconstructed historic buildings to see including: Blacksmith’s forge, Victorian tollhouse, WW1 and WW2 Nissen huts, 1940s prefab and more! The museum has a working traditional farm with livestock, a number of traditional gardens and an adventure playground.
The museum has a number of special events each year and every Tuesday in August is a Terrific Tuesday with lots of family crafts and activities. Dogs are welcome on site.
