Thame Music Therapy
Thame Music Therapy is a community-focused therapy practice enhancing the existing network of inclusive support for children, young people, and adults in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
Music Therapy is an NHS and HCPC recognised psychological therapy offering a creative, engaging and flexible way into therapeutic support. Through accessible music-making and a positive working rapport, Music Therapy aims to enhance mental health, well-being and personal development.
TMT is run by Hugh Anderson, a Music Therapist who has worked in mainstream, SEN, and SEMH schools, in NHS dementia and mental health settings, and an autism-specialist charity.
Hugh works with many clients who experience barriers to communication, high levels of anxiety, and social isolation. This includes people with physical and learning disabilities, special educational needs, and mental health conditions.
