Mozart and more...

Thame Chamber Choir’s 20th anniversary year continues with a concert which celebrates achievements since its foundation in 1999.

A highlight was its collaboration last year with the Coull string quartet, whose leader Roger Coull is well known to Thame audiences through his appearances as guest conductor with the Crendon Chamber Orchestra, and whose cellist, Nick Roberts, is a Thame resident.

This collaboration continues on Saturday July 6 in St Mary’s Church, Thame – the concert, ‘Mozart and More’ features music for choir and quartet by Mozart and others, including Mozart’s sublime ‘Ave Verum Corpus’, as well as one of Mendelssohn’s finest string quartets.

Anything could happen in the second half of the concert, in which the choir (pictured) will revisit some of its favourite popular song arrangements from its first 20 years.

Tickets are available from The Book House, Thame, online from, and at the door.
