New homes debate

An extra Thame Town Council meeting takes place this month, amidst fears over plans for 154 new houses on land north of Oxford Road.

It happens on 13 February, when the planning application P23/S4262/FUL will be debated and a formal decision given.

It is the district council’s role to grant or refuse planning permissions in South Oxfordshire. The town council is asking residents to raise any questions with relevant organisations, such as themselves and South Oxfordshire District Council, rather than seeking information on unmonitored social media pages.
