Social media: No sweat
Described as ‘No perspiration, just 100% inspiration’, a free event for professionals and businesses has been organised to help people maximise social media and website security.
Oliver Myles Marketing and Office Innovation are putting on a free seminar on April 30 from 9.30am to 11.30am at Office Innovation’s offices at 9D, Upper Wingbury Farm, Wingbury Courtyard Business Village, Wingrave, HP22 4LW .
To help communication, brand awareness and encourage sales opportunities, businesses are encouraged to maintain a presence on social media and possess a website. Both provide a cost-effective, creative method of engaging with target audiences, say organisers.

> Tweets with images can receive 150% more retweets than ones without.
> A total of 79% of B2B marketers use LinkedIn as an effective source for generating leads (Hootsuite, 2018).
> YouTube is the second biggest search engine, behind Google
> On Instagram, you can use up to 30 hashtags to gain presence, position and build a following.
The seminar aims to help professionals and businesses stay ahead and understand latest developments.
There will be plenty of free tips, hints and advice so the attendees can return to their workplaces and implement them immediately.
The importance of website security:
A secure, mobile responsive website presence is also a handy way of promoting your brand and maximising the opportunity to make sales. However, hackers and cyber criminals are becoming more prevalent. In this seminar, latest knowledge will be presented. Free advice will be presented so that knowledge is passed on.
Chris Phillips, Director for Oliver Myles Marketing, said: ‘This is our opportunity to offer our wealth of knowledge, insight and expertise to business professionals and organisations who want to get up to speed on the latest tricks, tips and advice.
‘There’s so much information available it can be difficult for the business community to trust what they read, see and hear. However, with our credentials and many years of experience and successes we can pass on help and advice that will boost every sized business from start-up entrepreneur to multinational blue chip enterprise – there will be something for everyone.’
Steve and David will outline the security your website needs and how it can be done quickly and effectively, while also giving some SEO [Search Engine Optimisation] advice that you implement yourselves.
Light refreshments will be served and free onsite parking is available.
