The joy of a toy

This February half term Bucks County Museum has some impressive toy crafts on show inspired by its nostalgic Toy Exhibition.

Each day from Monday 17 February to Saturday 22 February there will be a fun family friendly activity. Visitors can have a go at creating their own brick car, digger or space craft and design a road mat for it to travel on.

There is also the opportunity to design a T-shirt for a teddy or make a toy doll version of yourself. People can also paint their own unique jigsaw puzzle.

As part of the Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery entrance price on Friday 21 February, visitors will also have the chance to create an optical illusion.

Staff from Asmodee Games, makers of games such as Dobble, Cobrapaw and Rory’s Story Cubes, will be giving demonstrations throughout the day on Wednesday 19 February and Saturday 22 February from 11am – 4pm.

Craft activities cost £4.50 per person and are suitable for children three and over. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Craft activities run from 10am to 3pm and are drop in so no need to book. Just come along.
