The singalong season
People can embrace the Christmas spirit at the much-loved seasonal singalong event – Carolfest.
This special event on Sunday 10 December is free to attend, welcoming all members of the town community to unite in celebration of the Christmas season. Taking place in Aylesbury’s Old Town at St Mary’s Church, the event promises to be a memorable evening for friends and families of all ages.
Carolfest, organised by Aylesbury Town Council, will feature a programme filled with favourite carols led by choirs from Broughton Junior School and Bucks Music Trust. There will also be some extra performances from local singers.
Christmas jumpers are warmly encouraged with a prize for the best dressed.
There will be hot chocolate and gingerbread men for sale and donations go towards the Mayor of Aylesbury’s chosen charities – Youth Concern and Age UK Buckinghamshire.
Mayor Steven Lambert said: ‘We’d love to see residents enjoy a 60-minute singsong in St Mary’s Church. The town council hosts free community events year-round so please join us to round-off another fantastic year of events in Aylesbury.’
Carolfest takes place from 6pm-7pm.
