Tour de Vale is off

This year’s Mix 96 Tour de Vale Charity Bike Ride to Sunday 20 September has been postponed because of the coronavirus emergency.

Organisers say they believe that the decision is the right one, in order to protect the health and wellbeing of participants, supporters and volunteers, as well as the WheelPower and Stadium teams.

Race director Jo Hall said: ‘We love organising the ride and work hard to make sure that our riders enjoy the day in a safe and happy environment.

‘We hope that this decision will reassure you of our commitment to this year’s event. Please continue your training over the summer months and we look forward to seeing you on that start line in September.

‘Entries remain open for the new date and we hope that you can join us on Sunday 20 September [2021] for an all ability bike ride around the beautiful Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire countryside.

‘For all the latest information on this year’s event please continue to check our social media channels and website

‘Thank you for your understanding. Your support during this time would be most welcome as we continue to help those in need; now more than ever.’
