The Crazy Bear at Stadhampton is hosting an unforgettable night of 1920s glamour and indulgence at The Gatsby Evening, on Saturday, 7th June 2025.

Guests will be transported to the Jazz Age with a three-course gourmet dinner, live cabaret and Charleston dancers, and an electric atmosphere that channels the spirit of The Great Gatsby. With West End star Darren Charles headlining the entertainment, this is set to be one of the most talked-about nights of the summer in Stadhampton. Tickets start at £95 and the event is strictly adults-only.

At The Crazy Bear you’ll step back into the roaring twenties for a night of indulgence, vintage glamour, and unapologetic extravagance. Think live 1920s music, sultry showgirl dancers, flowing Champagne, and the kind of evening when anything feels possible. This is Gatsby, Crazy Bear style. Bold, beautiful, and unlike anything they’ve done before.

Start the night with elegant canapés and 1920s-inspired starter stations on arrival, then take your seat at your own private table for a delicious main course of roasted chicken breast, chasseur sauce, pomme purée, and charred stemmed broccoli, followed by Gatsby inspired lemon cake, all served to you. No sharing tables, no buffet – just exceptional food and unforgettable atmosphere, start to finish. Plus optional champagne tasting!

Your host for the evening is West End star & King of Cabaret, Darren Charles. From Notting Hill Carnival to The Rat Pack Live, Darren has lit up stages worldwide with his smooth vocals, sharp moves and irresistible charm. Known for his swinging, soulful style and vintage flair, he’s the perfect host for our 1920s Gatsby evening and will be accompanied by his Gatsby Dancers – flapper girls and dapper gents, with their high-energy Charleston, swing, and vintage jazz performances, bringing the spirit of Gatsby to life with fun, feel-good routines to get everyone smiling, clapping, and maybe even joining in…

Plus the glamourous Sera Fina to add Gatsby-era glamour with her playful, vintage-style burlesque. Think feathers, fringe, and slow-burn tease – all delivered with confidence, charm, and a cheeky wink. A true flapper spirit, she’s the perfect mix of elegance and fun, proudly ranked in the Top 50 Burlesque Performers by 21st Century Burlesque.

In addition there’s soulful singer Moni Tivony as seen on The Voice UK blending Motown magic with modern edge,
