This festive season, Discover Bucks Museum is bringing the nostalgia and magic of the 1990s to Christmas with its 12 Days of 90s Christmas Countdown, tied to their hit exhibition I Grew Up 90s currently on display at the museum.

Join in the countdown on their social media channels and explore a new festive 90s-inspired treat, each day from 13th December, from retro games and classic toys to quirky memorabilia and themed surprises. The countdown celebrates the decade that defined a generation, inviting families, teens and adults alike to relive the sights, sounds and spirit of the 90s. What will be number one on the 90s Christmas wishlist?

The I Grew Up 90s exhibition offers a journey through the decade, featuring a Retro Gaming Lounge, including iconic consoles like Super Nintendo, Sega Mega Drive, PS1, and Game Boy, alongside memorable pop culture artefacts, TV and film favourites, music, and toys.

“Christmas is a perfect time to share the joy of the 90s,” said Sam Mason, CEO at Discover Bucks Museum. “Our countdown is full of fun surprises and nostalgic moments that will delight both those who grew up in the decade and a new generation discovering it for the first time.”

The I Grew Up 90s exhibition and the 12 Days of 90s Christmas Countdown run throughout the festive season at Discover Bucks Museum and is a must-see for families looking to enjoy festive fun with a retro twist.
